Job Title:         Front of House Coordinator

Location:        Cedar Summerstock Theatre productions atthe CRC Auditorium; Osage, IA

Terms:             Contracted for season – June 15 –August 6

Salary:             $ 2,000 for summer stipend

Job Description: 

Looking for the ideal candidate(s) to manage the front of house of a local theatre company to manage box office, concessions, and assist hospitality team of volunteer ushers/concession workers.

Ideal Candidates: 

Team leader with great communication skills; we are open to the idea of this position to be shared by2 people if needed: a parent/teenager, spouses, 2 friends coordinating to share the responsibilities. 

Hours: 10-12 hours per week average for 10 weeks (stipend position)

Preferred Skills: Communication, computer navigation, math skills - making correct change

Responsibilities &Duties:  

• Greet guests with positive attitude
• Maintain cash box
• Sell tickets via cash or credit card through online tix management software program (we will train)
• Count daily ticket sales and record sales via bank deposits
• Oversee and assist with concessions sales
• Oversee hospitality team and assist with any questions/needs they may have
• Communicate with office manager with any other needs

Hours:  Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings 6 pm – 8:30pm; Sunday afternoons 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm
