Mitchell County Child Care Solutions Fund

Childcare is a workforce issue, an everyone issue, and a community issue. The goal of the Mitchell County Solutions Fund is to grow access to quality and affordable childcare in the county by incentivizing the childcare workforce.

This program is funded by local investments from businesses, organizations, and individuals. The funds are the incentivized for our childcare providers by enhancing wages and providing referral bonuses. This funding solution helps provide us with sustainable centers and increasing our number of children served within the county.

Goals

The goals of the Mitchell County Childcare Coalition is to incentivize the childcare workforce by enhancing their wages by $2 per hour for the next three years or longer.
