Overview:

"We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work on various vehicle makes and models. This role requires proficiency in welding, soldering, and sheet metal work, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service."

Responsibilities:

Perform auto body repairs on damaged vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

Utilize welding and soldering techniques for structural repairs and modifications.

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.

Execute sheet metal work, including cutting, shaping, and installing new panels as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.

Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as required, ensuring all work meets quality standards.

Pay is based on experience and a benefits package is offered including: 401(k), Employee Discount, Health Insurance, and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred. Will train for the right candidate.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues.

Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and the physical demands of the job.

Previous experience in customer service is a plus, enhancing client interactions during the repair process.
